2014 ~ 2018

Frances Doreen is very special. She was a performance persona I created and performed as instead of transitioning lol. I really didn’t want to transition at the time. I was trying everything I could to avoid having to figure that out. I have to remind myself of this sometimes when I think back. I have to remember that how afraid I was.

I played a handful of really fun shows with some awesome collaborators at places like Fringe Arts and Johnny Brendas and the late New Boon(e).

After I transitioned I said goodbye to Frances Doefeen. The cosmic redundancy of performing as her was a little to unsettling or something or it just felt unnecessary.

Then in 2019 I resurrected her ghost to perform as her jilted spirit angry at me for being abandoned for a series of performances at Killjoy’s Castle at Icebox in Philly.

This is the only album we recorded for the project.
